Jordan Visa, Easy to Get with the Jordan Pass

If you are planning to travel to Jordan soon, remember that you need to get a visa for this country. Before thinking about going to an embassy or getting it online, the good thing about the Jordan visa is that it is included in the price of the Jordan Pass, a ticket to visit the main monuments and places of interest in Jordan. With this you can avoid the 40JD visa fee that they give you upon entry, right at the airport.

Requirements to Enter Jordan due to Covid

There are currently no special Covid-related requirements for entering Jordan, so forget about PCR, vaccination or anything like that.

Visa Requirements

If you have the Jordan Pass, you will have to present it at immigration, and they will stamp your passport upon entry.

If you do not have this pass, you can obtain a visa for Jordan by paying 40JD, which you can pay with Jordanian dinars or, if you do not have this currency, by card. The exchange rate is usually around $56-60.

Jordan Pass

The Jordan Pass is a package tour to visit the main sights and attractions in Jordan. With it you don’t have to pay for all the entrances, since they are included in the ticket.

The good thing is that it is cheaper than buying tickets and getting a visa, that is why it has become so popular, and we can say that it is the most popular option for travellers.

Once you have it, you can carry it on your cell phone and take it out on each visit. It has a QR code, so that you can have it scanned at each monument or tourist attraction. It is therefore not necessary to carry it in paper form.

It should be noted that there are some (rare) places where either the Jordan Pass is not accepted or you must have the Jordan Explorer Pass (like in Bethany). But otherwise, the normal one is sufficient.
