Sri Lanka currently has five mobile operators: Dialog, Mobitel, Etisalat, Hutch, and Airtel. We chose Etisalat simply because the photocopier at the Airtel office wasn’t working to make a copy of our passport.
As soon as you get off the plane at Negombo Airport, you’ll find small offices of the main mobile operators in the country, making it extremely easy.
