The Andaman coast is particularly humid, but even here there is enough tropical sunshine to get a tan. This is a good time to travel to Thailand and see the waterfalls that are in full flow due to the weather.

Beware of landslides and flash floods. Thailand’s west coast may experience some rough seas in July.

To the north, in Chiang Mai, the forest grows ever more lush as rainfall increases and trekking becomes difficult and complicated.

With an average rainfall of 180mm and abundant rain in most areas, Thailand is wet and damp during July. Relative humidity levels averaging 83% add to the discomfort, but the rain brings only a little relief from the heat.

The average temperature remains constant at 28°C. The Gulf Coast and offshore islands are probably the driest places in Thailand in July. Hua Hin city, for example, receives only 100mm of rain for the month, and Koh Samui island 130cm, well below the national average.
