On its terrace, in the 18th century, Jai Singh II built an observatory, Jantar Mantar, which can be visited today, and also offers beautiful views over the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ghat-chet-singh\">Ghat Chet Singh<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Built as a small fortress in the 17th century, <strong>Ghat Chet Singh<\/strong> was built by the Maharaja of the same name, who made it his habitual residence.
