It could be said that it has three main seasons (dry and hot, dry and cool and the rainy season). We detail the climate by season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dry season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>November to February<\/strong>: This is said to be the most pleasant period of the year with cool, dry temperatures between 10\u00baC (at night) and 25\u00baC. The days are sunny, the nights are cool and there is very little rain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>March to May<\/strong>: During these dry season months, temperatures rise to over 35\u00b0C during the day and up to 25\u00b0C at night. This is the hottest time of the year (April being the hottest month) in Nong Khiaw, with high humidity but still little rain. It is the ideal time to enjoy water activities at the waterfalls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Rainy season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>June to October<\/strong>: In these months, after spring, the rainy season begins. Temperatures and humidity remain very high, between 25\u00baC and 30\u00baC. for the area it is located in than for what it is actually like, it is normal that the most popular activities involve going out to explore the surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Points of interest include<strong> waterfalls, viewpoints<\/strong> an hour away such as <strong>Phadeng Peak<\/strong>, or one- or multi-day <strong>treks<\/strong> that can be booked at agencies on the main street of are the <strong>Pha Tok caves<\/strong>, a huge cave several metres above the ground, which is accessed by stairs built into the side of the mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure north along the Nam Ou River is the town of <strong>Muang Ngoi<\/strong>, another place where you can enjoy a landscape very similar to Nong Khiaw but even smaller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As there is no road to access it, the only way to get there today is by boat, or rather by boat, a beautiful way to discover the landscapes and life around the river in the same style as the journey along the Mekong from didn&#8217;t want to leave it for a whole day in Nong Khiaw, but the truth is that making the trip to Muang Ngoi was something that particularly caught our attention, even if it was a bit more of the leave it for a whole day in Nong Khiaw, but the truth is that making the trip to Muang Ngoi was something that particularly caught our attention, even if it was a bit more of the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"where-to-eat-in-nong-khiaw\">Where to eat in Nong Khiaw<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On both sides of the river there are simple restaurants with local and western food but in the tourist area you will find more variety.
