This city is a fantastic place to spend a couple of days discovering the complex of monuments that have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We arrived at the end of the year, ready to visit its most iconic spots and, incidentally, looking for a place with some atmosphere to celebrate New Year&#8217;s Eve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end, we spent an entire week there. The city experiences two main seasons: the rainy season and the dry season. Planning your trip around these seasons will help you make the most of your visit to this Vietnamese city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dry Season (February to August):<\/strong> These months tend to be hot and dry, with maximum temperatures exceeding 35\u00b0C between May and June. Minimum temperatures range between 24\u00b0C and 28\u00b0C, so it will be quite warm with low humidity due to significantly decreased rainfall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rainy Season (September to January):<\/strong> Heavy rainfall and high humidity characterize Hue during this season, due to the monsoon rains. It features a 10 km perimeter wall with a width of 2 meters, surrounded by a 30-meter-wide moat. Legends aside, this river plays a crucial role in the city. Taking a walk or a tour on one of the traditional boats can be a lovely way to relax while seeing some of the imperial tombs or pagodas, such as the Thien Mu Pagoda.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"930\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conmochila.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/12\/GUIA-HUE-RIO-PERFUME.jpg\" alt=\"Perfume River\" class=\"wp-image-4613\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Perfume River<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Visit one of the docks or agencies in the area and inquire about boat trips.
