The capital of Laos<\/a><\/strong>, with a population of around 800,000 people, is already a different world compared to the rest of the country. With a mix of French colonial houses and Buddhist temples, Vientiane<\/strong> offers all kinds of services, as well as some of the most important monuments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first time we were there, we didn’t have a pleasant memory (chapter of the travel diary: A walk through Vientiane<\/strong>), but the second time, while we were waiting for a visa, we decided to give it a chance and visit some of its temples, walk along the river, eat a lot of bread and drink a lot of wine. If you have to go there, you don’t need to stay more than a day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
